About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IP Legal Counsel with expertise in intellectual property law, strong digital media awareness, and fluency in English and French to join our team in Paris.
About you
Education & Experience
Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law.
2–5 years of professional experience in media, digital content, or tech sectors.
Proven track record in:
Drafting and negotiating partnership contracts.
Managing copyright claims and platform rules (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, etc.).
Reviewing and renewing contracts.
Responding to third-party complaints.
Applying IP law in AI-related content and usage.
Languages
Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) — this is mandatory.
Digital & Legal Skills
Solid knowledge of social media rules, copyright law, and platform-specific content policies.
Strong ability to build, adapt, and review contracts in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Experience with digital copyright systems (e.g., Content ID, claim removals).
Soft Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you’ll work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Rigor and precision in legal insights and documentation.
Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Comfortable working with data and digital platforms.
Adaptability and curiosity to thrive in a multicultural team.
Enthusiastic about contributing to collective projects and innovation.
Main Assignments
This role is essential in managing copyright matters, platform compliance, and digital contracts, especially within the dynamic world of social media content and creative partnerships.
You will work cross-functionally with product, content, legal, and partnership teams, and you’ll be involved in global projects with legal impact across media, tech, and content distribution.
Compensation & Benefits
Fixed monthly salary of €3,000 to €4,000 depending on qualifications
Anual bonus of up to 20% of annual compensation (Paid once a year)
Permanent contract (CDI).
Flexible hybrid work model: 3 days in the office in Paris.
Team building activities every 6 weeks.
Inclusive parental support:
5 days per year for childcare leave.
Extended leave in case of termination of pregnancy (applicable to both parents).
