About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and culturally fluent French writer to join our editorial team and create engaging content about pop culture, celebrity news, and entertainment — with a special focus on the French-speaking world.
The ideal candidate has a background in journalism or editorial writing and can craft compelling, accurate, and creative stories that resonate with digital audiences.
You should be someone who loves following the latest gossip, cultural moments, and viral trends — from red carpet events to trending TikTok moments — and can turn them into smart, captivating articles or scripts.
If you’re passionate about writing, pop culture, and French media, this role is a great opportunity to grow within a creative and fast-paced international team.
About you
Native or fluent French speaker (C1–C2 level required).
Excellent writing and storytelling skills — grammar, tone, and style must be impeccable.
Background in journalism, communication, or media (preferred).
Deep interest in pop culture, entertainment, and celebrity news, especially within the French-speaking world.
Understanding of social media platforms and how to write for digital audiences.
Curious, creative, and always aware of the latest trends.
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working with deadlines and feedback cycles.
English level B1–B2+ (to communicate with international teams).
Main Assignments
Research and write articles, scripts, or posts focused on French and global celebrity culture, entertainment, and social media trends.
Stay up to date with the latest news, gossip, and viral moments in the pop culture landscape.
Craft catchy headlines and engaging narratives tailored for online audiences.
Ensure all content meets high standards of accuracy, clarity, and style.
Collaborate with editors, social media teams, and video producers to adapt stories across formats and platforms.
Contribute creative ideas for new story angles, formats, and audience engagement.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Monthly Fee: USD $600
Payment: Biweekly, on the 15th and 30th of each month
Contract Type: Service Contract – Independent Contractor
Modality: 100% Remote
Region: Open – preferably based in a timezone close to France
