About the Role
We’re looking for an AI-savvy Video Editor with strong storytelling instincts to join our team and take projects from concept to final cut.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both narrative structure and cutting-edge AI tools, and who thrives in creating high-retention content for social media platforms. A strong preference is given to candidates passionate about True Crime content, who are comfortable handling sensitive subject matter and building compelling, responsible narratives around complex stories.
You’ll work across platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok, producing content optimized for performance and audience engagement.
About you
English fluent (required).
Strong experience as a video editor with storytelling expertise.
Comfortable taking ownership of a project from idea → script → final edit.
Passionate about True Crime content and comfortable working on sensitive topics.
Hands-on experience with AI creative tools such as:
VEO
Kling
Seedance
ChatGPT
Claude
Runway
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus).
Deep understanding of social media formats and performance optimization.
Organized, autonomous, and proactive.
Main Assignments
Develop video concepts from scratch, including research and scriptwriting.
Edit long-form and short-form content with strong storytelling structure.
Use AI tools (VEO, Kling, Seedance, ChatGPT, Claude, Runway) to enhance production workflows.
Produce high-retention edits tailored to YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok.
Integrate AI-generated visuals, motion, voice, or enhancement tools when relevant.
Optimize pacing, hook structure, subtitles, and retention techniques for social platforms.
Collaborate with strategy and content teams to improve performance.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Monthly Fee: USD $800
Quarterly performance bonus up to $300.
Payment: The total billed for each month is paid Via ACH/Wire in two instalments; the 15th and the 30th days of the month following the provision of the services
