About the Role
We are looking for a production-minded, autonomous, and disciplined Full-Stack Developer to join our team. This role is designed for a developer with hands-on experience shipping real-world applications, identifying security, data, and deployment bottlenecks early, and bringing production readiness to fast-moving, creative tools.
If you know how to take prototypes—including AI-powered workflows—and harden them into safe, scalable tools that run smoothly in production, we want you on our team.
In this position, you will work alongside our existing developer and team lead, building new tools and elevating our infrastructure discipline across our suite of internal platforms (FoxFlow, FoxCut, Thumbnail Maker, Bulk Scheduler, and upcoming AI tools). You will complement our content-first team by turning fast, creative builds into reliable, production-ready software.
About you
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience shipping real-world applications and taking tools from prototype to scalable production. (Computer Science background is a plus, but practical experience beats credentials).
Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js, Docker, n8n, Firebase, SQL/NoSQL, API integrations (LLMs & Social Media), and security practices.
Mindset ("Vibe Code Clean-Up"): Strong technical judgment, high autonomy, and the ability to bring order and deployment discipline to fast-moving environments.
Communication: Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical team members and collaborate seamlessly with an existing developer.
Main Assignments
Tool Hardening & Development: Build new features and optimize internal tools, converting prototypes into scalable, secure production applications.
API & Workflow Integrations: Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Zhipu, Groq) and social media platform APIs (Meta, YouTube, X) using Python/Node.js and n8n.
Security & Infrastructure: Implement basic security practices (credential management, auth, input validation), maintain Docker containers, and manage SQL/NoSQL databases (including Firebase).
Sprint Scoping & Code Review: Scope backlog tasks, flag technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, conduct peer reviews with our current developer, and execute safe deployments with post-launch monitoring.
Compensation & Benefits
Workload: Ongoing support, maintenance, and feature development across internal tools (sprint-based workload).
Base Monthly Fee: USD $900
Performance Bonus: Up to $300 quarterly based on performance.
Payment: Billed monthly and paid via ACH/Wire in two equal installments (the 15th and 30th days of the following month).
Contract Type: Service Contract – Independent Contractor.
Modality: 100% Remote (Open to candidates outside traditional tech hubs).
