About the Role
We are looking for a visually sharp, data-informed, and creative Thumbnail Maker / YouTube Strategist to join our YouTube team. This role is designed for a visual designer who deeply understands YouTube viewer psychology, click-through rate (CTR) optimization, and packaging strategy.

If you know how to translate complex video concepts into high-converting 16:9 visual hooks, stay ahead of visual trends, and combine Photoshop mastery with smart AI tools, we want you on our team.
In this position, you will lead the visual packaging strategy across our YouTube channels. You will collaborate closely with editors and content strategists to create compelling title and thumbnail combinations, analyze low-CTR performance data, design A/B test variations, and adapt packaging for both French- and English-speaking audiences.
About you
Technical Mastery: Advanced command of Adobe Photoshop, image retouching, color grading, compositing, and visual hierarchy.
Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Deep understanding of YouTube analytics, CTR optimization, audience psychology, and A/B testing methodologies.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in French and English (ability to adapt packaging concepts across both markets).
AI Tool Integration: Comfort using AI tools as a creative aid for asset generation and workflow speed.
Portfolio: Proven track record of high-performing YouTube thumbnails with measurable results.
Main Assignments
Thumbnail Design & Packaging: Create high-impact 16:9 thumbnails optimized for mobile and desktop, ensuring visual hierarchy, strong contrast, and immediate curiosity.
Title & Visual Synergy: Develop complementary title + thumbnail combinations that build intrigue without repeating the exact same text on screen.
Performance Analysis & Diagnosis: Analyze YouTube Studio analytics (CTR, impressions, retention graphs) to diagnose underperforming packaging and propose high-CTR redesigns.
Trend & Market Research: Monitor evolving YouTube visual trends, identify outdated thumbnail styles, and integrate modern packaging benchmarks into weekly workflows.
Workflow & AI Integration: Utilize Photoshop, compositing, and generative AI tools (for backgrounds, ideation, and asset generation) to elevate visual output without sacrificing design control.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Monthly Fee:Â USD $750
Payment: The payment for the total billed each period is paid in two equal parts, via ACH or Wire transfer in the 15th and 30th days of the month following the provision of the services.
