About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Social Media Manager who goes beyond simple execution. This role is built for a "Performance Architect"—someone who doesn't just post content but obsessively analyzes why it works, identifies patterns of success, and continuously optimizes for growth.
If you are a proactive thinker who can turn data into creative strategy and help scale our presence across major platforms, we want you to lead our performance efforts.
This is a high-ownership position focused on the end-to-end management and optimization of our core channels, primarily YouTube and Facebook. You will act as the bridge between raw data and creative output, working closely with our editing team to refine storytelling and packaging.
Success in this role isn't measured by the number of posts, but by the movement of the needle: CTR, retention, and total views. You will be responsible for the "Hook-to-Retention" pipeline, ensuring every piece of content is engineered for maximum performance.
About you
Platform Expert: Strong, proven understanding of content performance specifically on YouTube and Facebook.
Analytical Mindset: You can look at a retention graph and immediately identify where a story lost its audience and how to fix it.
Packaging Specialist: Experience with high-level content optimization, including click-worthy titles and retention-focused storytelling.
Proactive Self-Starter: You don't wait for instructions; you identify opportunities for growth and take the lead on implementing them.
Communicator: Excellent collaboration skills to effectively guide editors and translate technical data into creative directions.
Versatile: Comfortable handling both short-form and long-form content across multiple channels.
Main Assignments
Channel Ownership: Manage the end-to-end operations of assigned YouTube and Facebook channels, ensuring consistency and platform alignment.
Performance Analysis: Deep-dive into analytics to identify why content performs or fails, creating actionable insights for the team.
Content Optimization: Refine hooks, storytelling structures, and overall packaging (titles, thumbnails, and pacing) to drive engagement.
Creative Direction: Work closely with video editors to guide content improvements based on performance data.
Strategic Planning: Develop and manage content plans, including pulses, creative briefs, and publishing calendars.
Ideation & Refinement: Continuously develop new content ideas and improve existing formats based on historical performance patterns.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Monthly Fee: USD $700
Payment Structure: The total billed for each month is paid Via ACH/Wire in two instalments; the 15th and the 30th days of the month following the provision of the services
Contract Type: Service Contract – Independent Contractor.
Modality: 100% Remote.
