About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, creative, and highly independent Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our Snapchat channels. This is a critical role joining our partner brand Blue Foxes at an exciting time of transition, where you will be expected to drive content strategy, design engaging visuals, and execute campaigns with high autonomy.
If you understand the unique language of mobile-first audiences, possess strong creative instincts, and know how to use digital design tools to make content pop, we want you on our team.
This position is tailored for an experienced social media professional who understands platform dynamics inside out—specifically Snapchat. As we transition our workflows to give our SMMs significantly more creative freedom, you will not just be executing a plan; you will be the driving force behind content performance, tile packaging, and channel growth.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical data literacy (interpreting platform metrics) and fast-paced visual execution.
About you
Language: Fluent in English is an absolute must.
Platform Expertise: Proven previous experience successfully managing and growing Snapchat channels.
Technical Toolkit: Proficient with mobile-first creative and layout tools such as Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or equivalent video editing and graphic suites.
Geographic Preference: Ideally located in or closely aligned with the Western Europe time zone for optimal team synchronisation.
Soft Skills: Highly independent, creative, and intrinsically motivated. You are a natural problem-solver who can handle compliance challenges and underperforming metrics with strategic agility.
Main Assignments
End-to-End Snapchat Management: Manage channel operations, tracking daily analytics, and optimizing stories for maximum reach, open rates, and completion rates.
High-Retention Packaging: Conceptualize and design eye-catching "Tiles" and hyper-engaging headlines that drive click-through rates while fully adhering to platform compliance standards.
Content Optimization & Reposting: Audit historical data to identify winning content patterns, adjusting and re-editing past successful videos to maintain cultural and performance relevance.
Compliance & Policy Management: Monitor platform content safety standards, proactively fix at-risk visual assets, and handle the formal appeals process for any falsely flagged media.
Visual Asset Creation: Independently produce rapid, clean edits, static designs, and layouts optimized for vertical platform specifications.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Monthly Fee: USD $700
Payment Structure: Total billed for each month is paid via ACH/Wire in two installments (the 15th and 30th of the following month).
Contract Type: Service Contract – Independent Contractor.
Modality: 100% Remote.
