About the Role
We’re looking for a YouTube-savvy Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team and help manage content for IP-based entertainment channels, including Laugh Society and Binge Society.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in YouTube Studio, strong organizational skills, and a passion for optimizing video content performance. You’ll be working in collaboration with another SMM, sharing responsibility for approximately 12 active YouTube channels, handling both strategy and execution.
Since this role focuses on IP content — such as movie clips and comedy sketches — the production process is faster-paced, requiring excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage high posting volumes efficiently. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that every upload is optimized for reach, engagement, and compliance.
About you
English Level B2+ (required) – strong written and spoken communication.
French is a plus but not required.
Proven experience managing YouTube channels and using YouTube Studio daily.
Solid understanding of YouTube algorithms, analytics, and monetization principles.
Highly organized and capable of handling multiple pages and posting schedules simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work at scale.
Team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
Interested in IP content, film, and comedy.
Main Assignments
Channel Management: Oversee content scheduling, uploads, and optimization across multiple YouTube channels (around 12 channels shared between 2 SMMs).
Content Posting: Manage approximately 40–50 posts per week (volume may vary monthly).
Optimization: Use YouTube Studio to write effective titles, tags, thumbnails, and descriptions that boost discoverability and viewer retention.
Performance Tracking: Monitor video analytics, identify trends, and provide recommendations for continuous growth.
Quality Control: Ensure all uploaded content meets brand guidelines, copyright compliance, and content standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with another SMM and cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and efficiency across all channels.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated on YouTube trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in short- and long-form video management.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Monthly Fee: USD $700
Payment: In two instalments, the month after services are provided
Contract Type: Service Contract – Independent Contractor
Modality: 100% Remote
Bonus: Applicable quarterly by performance, up to $300USD.
