About the Role
We are looking for a creative, fast, and experienced Video Editor to join our team dedicated to Gamology France. This role is designed for a true post-production professional who masters Adobe Premiere Pro and knows how to give pop culture, gaming, and entertainment content a dynamic, high-retention rhythm.
If you bring strong visual instincts, love gaming and classic culture, and know how to elevate a story with sound design, stock footage, and slick editing effects, we want you to shape our daily videos.
About you
Language: Full fluency in French (mandatory).
Software Mastery: Expert command of Adobe Premiere Pro is strictly required. We need someone who already knows the tool inside out—no learning on the job.
Proven Experience: Direct prior experience working as a video editor for a media company, agency, or high-volume freelance clients. A strong demoreel is a major plus.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with multicam logging, YouTube editing styles, stock footage/audio research, and sound design. Basic knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, or AI tools is a strong plus.
Domain Interest: A natural interest in Pop Culture, Gaming, and classic internet culture.
Soft Skills: High editing speed, strong artistic rhythm, and excellent proactive communication habits.
Main Assignments
End-to-End Video Editing: Manage the full editing pipeline: footage downloading, multicam logging, rough cuts, dynamic pacing adjustments, sound design/audio balancing, graphic effects, and final exports.
Asset Sourcing: Independently research and seamlessly integrate relevant stock footage, sound effects, and background music to elevate the narrative.
Short-Form Adaptation: Re-edit long-form content into engaging vertical Shorts (3 per week) optimized for modern audience retention.
Visual Effects & Graphics: Create clean, quick text overlays, pop-ups, and animations natively in Premiere Pro (and Photoshop/After Effects where applicable).
Proactive Collaboration: Maintain clear, constant communication with the editorial team to pitch creative editing ideas, ask questions, and solve narrative gaps.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Monthly Fee:Â USD $800
Quarterly performance bonus up to $300.
Payment:Â In two instalments, the first paid the 15th and the second the 30th of the month following the provision of the services
