About the Role
The Web Designer & Developer is responsible for updating, maintaining, and improving the website to ensure it aligns with the brand’s identity and industry standards. This role involves designing intuitive, visually appealing interfaces, optimizing the user experience (UX), and writing clean, efficient code to ensure high performance and responsiveness. The position also focuses on ensuring the website is accessible across all devices and browsers, performing regular website updates, debugging issues, and implementing new features as needed. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align on business goals and continuously enhance the digital experience is also key to this role.
About you
You are the perfect match if you are a Web Designer with solid Programming skills and you have strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. A proactive and self-motivated attitude is key, along with the ability to manage time and tasks independently. The role demands creative problem-solving abilities, adaptability to evolving needs, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. It’s important to be comfortable in agile or fast-paced environments and to manage feedback and iterations efficiently. A collaborative mindset and openness to constructive feedback are also essential.
Main Assignments
1. Update and evolve the current website design on squarespace to reflect both the unique identity of the brand and the latest industry benchmarks and user experience standards.
2. Maintain, improve, and debug the live website by writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.
3. Ensure that the site is high-performing, responsive, and accessible across all modern browsers and devices.
4. Collaborate with the team to translate evolving brand and business needs into intuitive digital interfaces.
Compensation & Benefits
Project fee: USD$900
Payment: In two equal amounts, to be paid on the 15th and the 30th days of the month following the provision of the services
This is a short term mission to be completed in three to four weeks
